ABOUT
ABOUT
I'm a research psychologist and Wellcome Fellow in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, where I also hold the Stevenson Junior Research Fellowship in Medical Sciences (Psychology) at University College. My lab and I are interested in social influences on adolescent mental health and school based interventions.
My research is currently supported by an Early Career Award from Wellcome and University College, Oxford. I have published over 30 peer reviewed papers in journals including Nature, JAMA Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine. Our work has been cited in numerous policy reports, including those from the WHO and the United Nations and has been reported on in the New York Times, Forbes and the Independent among other outlets.
Prior to joining Oxford, I studied Psychological & Behaviorual Sciences at Cambridge, and completed my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL. I then spent a couple of years as a Postdoc at the University of New South Wales, and the University of Sydney in sunny Australia. I have also previously worked in the Department for Education's Mental Health & Wellbeing team, in Westminster.
